How can you protect your family from air pollution?

Air pollution harms both the environment and our health globally. Carbon dioxide gas, which causes global warming, is the main cause of air pollution and the situation is getting worse day by day. When thinking about the health of our family and the future of our planet, it is important to know how we can protect ourselves and not pollute the air more.


Wear a mask
Masks are generally divided into two. Surgical masks were originally designed for use in medical operations. However, it is designed to protect from saliva and bacteria that may come out of the doctor's mouth, not to protect the person breathing. If you don't want to inhale things like viruses and dust, you can wear protective masks that fit your face well. While wearing the mask, make sure that there is no gap between your cheeks and nose and that it fits well on your face. Even the smallest gap causes waste to enter.

Make gargling a habit
Mouthwash is a great way to clear both your throat and the inside of your mouth. Gargle every night before sleeping to get rid of airborne viruses and prevent diseases such as colds. All you have to do is add some sea salt to the warm water and swish it in your mouth, then lift your chin up and blow the water out strongly. A 15-second mouthwash is normally sufficient. If there are signs of illness, you can extend the period. Then spit out this water.

If you make a habit of these two rules, you will not get sick throughout the year, especially in winter. Air pollution may have become a big problem in the world, but it is not impossible to take precautions.
