1. COCONUT OIL
Due to its low molecular weight, coconut oil penetrates the hair shaft and helps reduce protein loss. This helps to nourish and condition your hair, moisturize your scalp and prevent dryness, reducing the chances of dandruff.

Materials
    2 tablespoons of coconut oil

Application
    Massage coconut oil into your scalp.
    Leave it for an hour and wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
    Repeat this twice a week.

2. ALOE VERA
Research shows that the antimicrobial and antifungal properties of aloe vera inhibit the growth of Malassezia furfur.


Materials
    aloe vera gel

Application
    Massage the aloe vera gel in circular motions until it is absorbed into your scalp.
    Wash your hair after an hour.
    Repeat this twice a week.

3. APPLE VINEGAR
Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid, which helps balance the pH level of your scalp ( 15 ), ( 16 ). This can prevent moisture loss and scalp dryness that lead to dandruff.


Materials
    1 tablespoon of raw apple cider vinegar
    3 tablespoons of water

Application
    Mix raw apple cider vinegar and water.
    Apply this solution to your scalp.
    Let it sit for a few minutes and shampoo your hair.
    Do this 1-2 times a week.

Note: Be sure to dilute apple cider vinegar before using it. Raw and undiluted ACV can cause burns and skin irritation.

4. ASPIRIN
Aspirin is a salicylate that helps loosen the white scales on your scalp and eliminate flaking.


Materials
    2 aspirin tablets

Application
    Crush aspirin tablets to form a powder.
    Mix this aspirin powder with your regular shampoo.
    Shampoo your hair with this mixture and wait two minutes before rinsing.


5. PROBIOTICS
Probiotic foods like yogurt contain Lactobacillus paracasei, which helps restore the normal balance of your scalp's microbiome, thereby reducing dandruff . Therefore, consume a glass of probiotic yogurt daily to prevent dandruff formation.
