Necessary materials
- Warm water
- A white cloth
- Liquid dishwashing detergent
- Dish sponge
- White vinegar
- Nail polish remover
- Ammonia
- Hydrogen peroxide
Using these materials to remove the stain, it will be possible to remove these stains from us with a few steps.
- We prepare a mixture by mixing a spoonful of liquid dish soap and a spoonful of white vinegar with two cups of water. While preparing this mixture, we must take care to use warm water. Warm water will soften the stain and make it easier to remove.
- In the second stage, we dip our clean white cloth into this mixture and apply it to the stained area. At this stage, it is very important that we apply the mixture from the outside to the inside of the stain in order not to spread the stain.
- Then we start to clean the mixture by buffering this mixture with a sponge soaked in cold water. We repeat this process until the mixture is completely separated from the carpet.
- After this process, before this area dries, we apply acetone to the area with a sponge. If there is a stain residue left, acetone will allow this stain to be removed.
- If we do not get a result from this stage, we will need a new mixture. We create another mixture by mixing 1 teaspoon of liquid detergent, 1 tablespoon of ammonia and 2 cups of warm water. We apply this mixture to the stained area with a clean white cloth.
- This mixture will be kept in the staining area for 30 minutes. However, during this period, we must moisten this mixture, which we apply with a wet sponge every 5 minutes, to prevent it from drying.
- After waiting for the required time, we wipe this mixture until we are sure that it is thoroughly rinsed with a wet sponge. After making sure that it is thoroughly rinsed, we leave it to dry in a sunless and airy area.
- If the stain is not removed even though we follow all of these recommendations, we can use hydrogen peroxide. We apply hydrogen peroxide to the area of the staining using a dropper. If we get rid of the spilled stain after waiting for 1 day in this way, we clean this area by washing it with carpet shampoo.
- If we could not get results from all these processes, we should resort to professional methods. Dry cleaning fluids will be the last resort for us in this regard. However, since these liquids are very intense chemicals, they should be used with caution.
