There is nothing more annoying than oil and grease stains on clothes. Accidents happen, but that doesn't mean you have to throw away your favorite shirt. You should at least try to save it. Listen to our news for the best tips to help you remove stubborn oil and grease stains...

While cooking in the kitchen or having an elaborate dinner, you may accidentally spill something oily on your clothes. Oil stains can be difficult to clean, even if you try to rinse the stain with water as quickly as possible or throw it in the washing machine right away. There is no doubt that grease and oil leave behind some of the most stubborn stains on clothing. They can be difficult to clean completely, but the sooner you try, the better. Your success depends on the stain, the material and color of the fabric, and the way you try to clean it.

While stains may not appear as much at first, they tend to darken fabric over time, so it's important to work to remove them as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the more oil and grease will be absorbed. Once it dries, the stain will be much more difficult to remove and can ruin your clothes beyond recovery. Fortunately, there are a few tricks to help you get rid of those stubborn stains easily!

These methods work wonders!

1. TOOTHPASTE
Apply the toothpaste to the stain and let it dry. Rinse off the toothpaste with cold water, but only when the paste is completely dry. Then wash the garment in the washing machine as you normally would.

2. WHITE GAS
Apply some white gas to the oil stain and then wash the garment in the washing machine at normal temperature. The stain will disappear completely. This method also works very well for old oil stains.

3. DISHWASHING SOAP
Apply some undiluted dish soap to the oil stain and work the soap into the stain thoroughly using a sponge or cloth. Do not rinse the soap from the clothes, immediately put it in the washing machine.

4. SHIPPED MILK
Pour some skim milk onto the stain and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then immediately wash the garment in the washing machine. The stain will disappear completely!

5. Baking Powder (FOR RESISTANT STAINS)
In case of stubborn stains, sprinkle some baking soda with dish soap on the stain and then scrub it with a toothbrush. Let it rest for a while until the baking soda dries slightly and covers the stain with a firm paste.
