Generally, after the age of 30, most people experience graying of hair. Although many people turn to hair dyes to get rid of this very annoying problem, some people believe that hair dyes are dangerous. Here are the materials you can use to dye your hair naturally at home...
Coloring your hair takes a lot of effort, especially when using traditional hair dyes. Instead of using chemical filter hair dye on your scalp, you should use natural ways to cover gray hair roots and keep your hair black. As we age, the melanin in the body and scalp decreases and this is actually the natural pigmentation responsible for hair color. The worst part is that after 30, your hair turns gray from 10 percent to 30 percent.
BLACK PEPPER
Black pepper contains natural pigmentation that can help darken your hair easily. Using black pepper not only darkens gray hair, but also naturally softens them, leaving you with soft, moist and supple hair. Take 2 grams of black pepper and mix it to make a paste. Now add a glass of yogurt to it and then apply it to the roots. Let it sit for an hour and then wash it off with cold water. Do not rub your eyes while applying this mask, it may cause irritation.
APPLE VINEGAR
Due to the essential enzymes present in apple cider vinegar, it can help preserve the melanin in your hair follicles, thus preventing graying of hair. Using apple cider vinegar helps keep your scalp moist and hydrated. Take a glass of apple cider vinegar and add two glasses of water to it. Pour this solution on your hair and leave it for half an hour. Then wash with cold water.
POTATO SHELLS
Did you know that potato peel is an excellent ingredient that can help cover gray hair without using dye? Potato skin contains a good amount of starch, which acts as a colorant, thus slowing down the graying of hair and darken your hair follicles easily. Peel a few potatoes and peel off the skin. Now take two glasses of water and boil one glass of potato skins. Let it simmer for a while and add a few drops of essential oil of your choice. Now pour the liquid into the hair and saturate each strand. Rinse with water.
ONION JUICE
Due to the rich enzyme catalase content in onions, it can help dye hair. Regular application of onion juice to the scalp can help darken the hair follicles, thus preventing graying of hair.
Take some onion juice and massage your hair roots with it. Leave for 40 minutes and wash off with cold water.
