You Can Easily Clean Your Mattress With These Three Simple Methods

Cleaning the bed you sleep on every night may seem like torture, but with the methods we shared in our news, you will be able to clean your bed easily and practically. Here are those methods...

Cleaning a mattress sounds like a lot of work. Therefore, you will need to devote time to this to properly clean the mattress. But remember, it's worth it since you sleep in your bed for an average of seven or eight hours each night, and especially when you consider that you're sweating and leaving dead skin on your bed every night. With these simple steps, your bed will be spotless again. You can clean your bed in just three simple steps!

You'll sleep better knowing you're not sleeping on a dirty bed every night.

1. CLEAN DUST Mites AND DUST
The easiest way to combat dust is to install a floor nozzle in your vacuum cleaner. Run this over the top and sides of the bed to absorb as much dust as possible. Press firmly on the attachment to remove dust from under the surface of the top sheet of the mattress. Then use a narrow attachment to get into the seams and edges. If you have a clothes steamer, go over the mattress with the steamer before you start vacuuming to help kill and clean dust mites.

2. REMOVE OLD STAINS
If pets sleep with you or you like to eat in bed, your bed may have some stains. The easiest way to remove them is with a simple cleaning trick. You just need some baking soda, dish soap and hydrogen peroxide to remove these stains on the bed. Put half of the peroxide in a bottle and add two tablespoons of baking soda. Finally, add some dish soap. Shake the bottle and use the mixture to clean your bedding.

3. REMOVE ODOR
You can ensure that unpleasant odors disappear with an upholstery cleaning liquid. Mix the liquid with water in the proportions indicated on the package. Rub the cleaner onto the mattress with a cloth or brush and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then rinse with clean water. Be careful not to saturate the bed with the mixture. Allow the treated area to dry thoroughly before using the mattress again. Always check the instructions on the bottle. Sodium bicarbonate is also known for its deodorizing ability. Sprinkle it on the problem area and let it sit for about 10 minutes before removing it with a vacuum cleaner. This solution is more environmentally friendly.
